Department of Forest Microbiology

The Department of Forest Microbiology studies the bringing up of healthy forests through the clarification of tree pathogenic fungi and decay fungi, the elucidation of outbreak mechanisms and the control of the development of major tree diseases, as well as the elucidation of symbiotic functions and the utilization of developments in the mycorrhizal fungi.
