Title Seasonal changes in LAI in Chinit river basin (grid calculation)

Description We estimated the seasonal changes in LAI with the resolution of 0.1 degree in the Chinit river basin. LAI was estimated from NDVI data (resolution 250 m) by MODIS. To minimize the effect of cloud, we used one month composite NDVI derived from BRDF estimation.
We used the empirical relationship between MODIS-NDVI and measurement of LAI (Lorentzian Cumulative Function, Kalacska et al., 2004) to obtain LAI from MODIS-NDVI. When we established the relationship, we confirmed the land use by high-resolution satellite ASTER. 3 years LAI estimations are provided.

Title Seasonal changes in soil moisture in Chinit river basin (grid calculation)

Description We estimated the seasonal changes in soil moisture at the depth of 1 m for the grid of 0.1 degree by the relationship between measured soil moisture and forest type and/or LAI. The direct measurement was carried out mainly in 2004.
