History

  • 1922:Forestry Experiment Station Sendai branch founded in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture.
  • 1924:Abolished by the revision of the control tower.
  • 1935:Established Yamagata Prefecture Mogami District Nozoki village Kamabuchi Kamabuchi test areas for the broad-leaved use development test.
  • 1938:Koma test area was established in Iwate Prefecture Iwate District Makihori village Koma for the use and development of forest resources.
  • 1947:Mechanism reform associated with the Forestry Policy unity.
    Aomori branch is provided to Aomori regional forestry office location.
    Akita branch is provided to Akita regional forestry office location.
    Koma test place is the Aomori branch Koma minute field.
    Kamabuchi test place is the Akita branch Kamabuchi minute field.
  • 1959:Aomori branch, Akita branch was abolished By branch development plan.
    Forestry Experiment Station Tohoku branch is provided Iwate Prefecture Iwate District Tamayama village koma (Koma minute field).
    Kamabuchi minute field was changed to the Tohoku branch Yamagata minute field.
  • 1960:It moved to Morioka Shimokuriyagawa along with the dedication of the new building and Established Tohoku branch Koma test areas in Iwate Prefecture Iwate District Tamayama village koma at the same time.
  • 1962:Koma test areas abolition.
  • 1978:Yamagata minute field was changed with obsolete Yamagata test areas by organizational change.
  • 1988:Tohoku branch field was changed with obsolete Forestry and Forest Products Research Institute Tohoku Research Center by organizational change.
  • 2001:It became the Independent administrative agency Forestry and Forest Products Research Institute Tohoku Research Center.
  • 2015:Corporation name notation changed at National Research and Development Agency Forestry and Forest Products Research Institute Tohoku Research Center.
  • 2017:Renamed at National Research and Development Agency Forest Research and management Organization Forestry and Forest Products Research Institute Tohoku Research Center.
