Semangkok

Coarse Woody Debris (CWD)

The Semangkok plot is 6-ha, rectangle shape with 200 m X 300m. We used a sample plot inventory method to estimate CWD stock. Seven 20 m × 100 m transects, which consisted of five 20 m × 20 m sample quadrats, were placed in the plot; each quadrat was a sampling unit, and all 35 were used for analysis (Figure 1). All CWD components with an end diameter of 10 cm or more were measured in each sampling quadrat from August to September of 2009 and 2010 (Sato et al. 2016).

Data Set

This data file contains CWD data (csv format).

File Format

This data file contains following data

Label
Type Explanation
Plot Code
Character Identification code for each sampling plot
Topography
Category Micro-topography unit in each sampling plot
Altitude
Numeric Altitude in each sampling plot. Unit: m
Inclination
Numeric Inclination of each sampling plot. Unit: degree
Soil depth
Numeric Soil depth up to hard subsoil whose soil penetration resistance was more than 1.55 MPa in each sampling plot. All data were derived from Tange et al. (1998). Unit: cm
