Commentary |
They feed on insects and fruit as well as nectar. Males are more yellowish than females. In the Tama Forest Science Garden, they are commonly seen in evergreen broad- leaved forests, but in spring they often appear in the Cherry Tree Preservation Forests to feed on the nectar of the Cherry trees. |
