Scientific name

Zosterops japonica

Commentary

They feed on insects and fruit as well as nectar. Males are more yellowish than females. In the Tama Forest Science Garden, they are commonly seen in evergreen broad- leaved forests, but in spring they often appear in the Cherry Tree Preservation Forests to feed on the nectar of the Cherry trees.
