There are Japanese giant flying squirreles living in the Tama Forest Science Garden. The Japanese giant flying squirrel is a nocturnal animal, so during the daytime, it sleeps in its burrow. However, you are encouraged to keep an eye out for Japanese giant flying squirrel spots while you are walking through the botanical woodland areas.
